How do I write this in Musescore 4?

• May 4, 2024 - 16:37

I'm trying to transcribe this piece into Musescore 4 but this part is confusing me because I can't seem to transcribe it accurate to the original score.

I think you have a piano score here (more context would have been helpful). Top section, treble clef; bottom, bass. Notate the inverted Amin chord as Voice 1 in the treble clef. The half note A octave and then the quarter E octave as Voice 1 in the bass clef. Then notate the 11-tuplet in Voice 2 in the treble clef; move the first three notes moved with Ctrl+Shift+Down arrow.

See the sections in the Handbook on Voices (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/working-multiple-voices) and on Cross-Staff Notation (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/cross-staff-notation).

Yes, more context would be helpful--is this the original score or your transcription? What is the time signature/measure length of the measure? what are those two horizontal lines running between the staves (lyric melisma lines?)? Besides the issues with cross-staff notation and voices in the bottom staff, notice the collision between the D and the flat of the E flat in the 11-let--(can be fixed).

Attaching a mscz file would be helpful.
