Why cant we copy and paste ALL elements? INCLUDING Time signatures.
LOTS of my time, especially when copying and pasting from MS 3 to 4 (technically MS4 to "actual better score of" MS4) is spent trying to put time signatures of things I copy and paste.
Look, as an atonal and unconventional composer, I change times almost every other measure, and it's annoying not being able to copy every single thing like tempo, time signatures, key signatures, etc.

However, you'll be glad to hear that they are considering re-implementing the save button into MuseScore 4.2 :-P You can always volunteer your own coding efforts, of course.
It certainly can be an annoying limitation. It would be nice to have something like Excel's Paste Special option where you can choose exactly what to paste, with a default setting of Paste All. For now I edit the mscx file if I need to copy everything in multiple measures but this is not practical for other than occasional use.
I spent hours trying to get a useful answer to this question. I've been working on a song with several parts, with time changes and key changes throughout. I have each part as a separate score, and when I copy and paste each into the single file, it was very frustrating that all my hard work was destroyed. Just when I was ready to give up and go to bed, I had an idea. I opened one part that was complete and saved it as the file for my complete score. Now when I add a new instrument to my main score and copy and paste from my single-part score, all the system elements are maintained.
Of course, this workaround assumes you're only interested in copying and pasting a complete group of measures, in my case, the entire part.
