Multi-Bar Rest and Time Signaures

I'm reasonably new to MuseScore but I've found that when I try to use the multi-bar rest function the time signature at the beggining of the song dissapears (if the multi bar rest is at the beggining) or if there is a time signature or a rehersal mark in the middle of a multi bar rest it doesn't break the multi bar rest and that dissapears.

Attached is an example of this happening to me.
