Col legno strings soundfont and input

I've been wanting a col legno option for quiet a while! Sibelius has this feature along with a good soundfont for it. I think it would be great for MuseScore to have as well. It would be entered in to the string sections through staff text like "pizz" and "arco" are.

If you find a good col legno sound font:

Tells us other users
Use the Tremolo channel in the mixer since it's redundant and not needed to make tremolo sound.

I may be able to find a free soundfont on Polyphone. Then I can share a link on some groups if I find one that works. Great idea about adding it to the tremolo channel!

I've been using a work around for col legno - a very quiet shamisen - and I hate workarounds.

The only reason why I haven't made one myself is that I don't run into it very often. So put me on your col legno list for when you find/make one.

thanks, that's a workaround that will do for me until they hopefully add this feature. Or they start cooperating with noteperformer as I hope they'll do with musescore 4
