Is it possible that?
Create a new score score without barlines
Or create a new score with all or barlines invisible
Or via Measure Properties select: make all or barlines invisible

It seems that the maximum possible numerator for the time signature is 32. If you create a score with time signature 32/1 and just one measure, then you can delete the time signature from all staves. I realize this is kind of a "hack," but it works. :)

I would also like to be able to create scores without barlines.
You could just create a score with a large time signature like 999999999999/1 and there won't be any barlines.

There is now a very good solution (Nightly Build R2356 or perhaps earlier)
Right mouse click at barline
Select All Similar Elements
Right mouse click Set Invisible
